The Theology course of study is designed to educate and train young men to be local church pastors, assistant pastors, youth pastors, foreign missionaries, church planters, and evangelists.

Theology majors will take common Bible, Business, and General Studies courses alongside students in other majors, as well as taking courses in advanced theological studies and practical ministry leadership.

Key Classes in the Study of Theology

  • Christology, TH100

    An in-depth topical study of the bible relating to the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ. 

  • Hermeneutics, TH201

    The first of two courses designed to familiarize the student with the theory and methodology of studying the Scripture. Course one will emphasize basic techniques of recognizing context.

  • Biblical Counseling, BI 302

    A study of principles and problems of Scriptural counseling, Scriptural answers, the convicting power of the Holy Spirit, and man's basic problems and needs are are analyzed.
