Texas Independent Baptist Seminary & Schools encourages applications from students who believe they have received a calling from God to serve Him full-time and have demonstrated to the satisfaction of their local church and pastor that they possess the gifts to do so. The TIBS administration will qualify applicants for admission after the application file is complete.
Students desiring to enroll in graduate programs at Texas Independent Baptist Seminary & Schools must have earned a bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) representing a minimum of 128 credit hours to pursue a master’s degree, and a master’s degree to pursue a doctor’s degree. The TIBS administration will qualify applicants for admission after the application file is complete.
STEP 2: Transcripts
1. Must include class rank, cumulative grade point average, and graduation date.
2. Must have 2.00 on 4.00 scale.
2. GED students should submit test scores and official high school transcripts.
STEP 3: ACT Score
Applicants for the Education Programs must submit an ACT score. A minimum ACT score of 16 in each area of the exam is required.

Step 2: Transcripts
1. Post-secondary transcripts sent directly to TIBS with total credit hours, cumulative grade point average, and graduation date.
2. Must have 2.00 on 4.00 scale.
STEP 3: Recommendation
A Pastoral Recommendation Form is included in the application. This form must be sent directly to TIBS from the student's pastor.
